Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Laws with Honours (Oxon)
Philip attended schools in Huddersfield and graduated from Oxford University. He joined the firm in 1980 becoming a partner in 1982. For the majority of this distinguished 30 year plus career Philip specialised in company and commercial work including commercial property.
Philip is currently the risk and compliance partner for the firm and has developed the firm's working practises and quality management, which has recently been recognised by the Law Society who have awarded the firm Lexcel* status, and is reflected in our customer satisfaction scores.
Philip manages the day to day operational risks and ensures that the firm complies with all the professional rules and regulations. He has also been heavily involved with the firm's integration of other practises.
*The Lexcel practice management standard is only awarded to solicitors who meet the highest management and customer care standards. All firms who are awarded this standard are independently assessed annually by Law Society inspectors.
