Ashley Iredale, Partner at Armitage Sykes LLP, heads the Wills and Probate team. He is a specialist in Wills, Inheritance Tax Planning and family business inheritance matters.
Ashley has over 20 years' experience in this area of law and advises on Wills, Administration of Estates, creation of family trusts, including lifetime gifts, and in the related inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning issues.
He has extensive experience of dealing with Powers of Attorney in relation to the safekeeping of assets for people who can no longer deal with their own financial affairs.
Ashley qualified in 1988, having trained for two years at the firm which he joined in September 1986. Prior to that, he studied law at Manchester University before completing the Solicitors' Final Examination at Chester Law College. Ashley is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
