Michael Cantwell has joined as a partner in the corporate team.

Based in Leeds, Michael acts on a wide range of corporate matters. He is involved with negotiations to structure a transaction and credited with finding solutions to issues early. Michael is a trusted advisor and receives recommendations from existing clients, law firms and accountancy practices with a particular focus in the gambling and the manufacturing industry.

Michael also advises clients from initial set up (including EIS, SEIS, EMI and growth share investment), subsequent additional investment/funding rounds and eventual exit.

The corporate team has completed over 26 transactions worth approximately £75m since December 2022.
